Lids for Kids at Apple Blossoms Early Learning Mooroopna

Today the kinder children decorated a box for our collection of the lids for kids at our child care centre in Mooroopna.
Nikki had a discussion with the children about why we were collecting lids for kids!
The children have had discussions all week regarding kindness and feelings and they all think this is a very kind gesture for children to make them happy.

Apple Blossoms is a collection point for plastic lid collection.

These will be melted down and made into prosthetic hands for children….
We would love for all our families to get behind this great cause and help out. Ask all your families to keep their lids and bring them in so we can donate them…
This will be less plastic in the water ways as they will be put to good use.
